Texas Roadhouse was established by W. Kent Taylor in 1993 at Green Tree Mall, in Clarksville, Indian, which now has become a chain restaurant of America. The headquarter, Texas Roadhouse Inc., is located in Louisville, Kentucky. Today the chain owns more than 500 locations overall. Texas Roadhouse chose Andy, an armadillo, as their mascot.
The restaurant specializes in steaks, which are never frozen and hand-cut. Texas Roadhouse provides costumers of each table free dinner bread rolls and buckets of peanuts. Also it has certain special menu for children, including applesauce, salads, sauces, side dishes, hot dogs, dressings and so on.
